Join the Beautiful Lives Project and the Eastern Illinois University cheer team for a fun Court of Dreams event AND tickets to both the women’s and men’s basketball games! Individuals with disabilities will have the opportunity to practice a routine with the cheer team from 10:45–Noon, then join the half-time performance during the men’s game.

Please arrive at 10:30 a.m. for check-in. Parking and entrance is on the north side of the Student Rec Center (attached to Basketball Arena) building on Grant Avenue. Head downstairs to the aerobics room (elevator available).

Join the Beautiful Lives Project and the Olney Tigers cheer organization for a TWO-PART Court of Dreams event on December 11 in the auxiliary gym and December 17, 2024 at the Ron Herrin Gym at Richland County High School in Olney, IL. Twenty (20) individuals with disabilities will have the opportunity to practice with the Olney Tiger Cheerleaders on December 11, then perform with them at halftime during the boys’ basketball game against Salem on December 17.

** There is a mandatory practice on December 11 in the auxiliary from 5:30-7 p.m. Participants who cannot make the practice are asked not to register for this particular event. **

Sixty (60) individuals with disabilities will have the opportunity to join the Flames’ players and coaches on the court to learn basketball fundamentals and run through drills.

Please arrive at the Athletic Center between 10:30–11 a.m. CT for check-in. Participants may use Parking Lot 5 across from the Flames Athletic Center, off Morgan Street; an hourly fee may apply. Metered and free parking is available on the streets around the venue.

Please arrive at the Pat Sullivan Center between 9:30-10 a.m. for check-in. The Sullivan Center sits back off of Douglas Street, in between Wilcox Street and Plainfield Rd. There are a small number of handicapped parking spaces directly in front, adjacent to the front door drop-off area. There are two larger parking lots on the North side of Douglas Street.

• Front entrance: Busses use the red circle to drop off participants and may park in the green circle.

• Front entrance: The yellow circle is where participants will enter the arena in the upper bowl - there are stairs and elevators available to access the court level.

Arrival, from Colfax Avenue turn onto Dunkirk Street, go to the A POD, between Field A3, and A4 is Gate. Handicapped spots are right in front of that gate. Go through the gate to the check-in table.  

Check-in 9:30 a.m; Stage for march in 9:30-9:45 a.m; March onto the fields 9:55 a.m. Teams go to their field they will be playing after march in. There will be warm up, drills, and ball play. Finish at 12 p.m.
